- Preheat the oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
- Grease a 9ร13-inch baking dish with olive oil or butter. ๐ง๐ฝ๏ธ
2๏ธโฃ Make the Cheese Sauce:
- Heat olive oil and butter in a saucepan over medium heat. ๐ซ๐ง
- Add shallots, garlic, thyme, rosemary, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Sautรฉ for 5 minutes until fragrant. ๐ฟ๐ง
- Remove garlic cloves and discard.
- Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add milk and broth, whisking constantly. ๐ฅ
- Bring to a boil, stirring for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and mix in provolone and 1/2 cup of parmesan until melted and smooth. ๐งโจ

- Spread 1/4 of the cheese sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. ๐ถ
- Layer 3-4 lasagna noodles on top. ๐
- Spread 1/2 the pesto and sprinkle with spinach. ๐ฟ
- Add another 1/4 of the cheese sauce. Repeat the layers: noodles, remaining pesto, spinach, and cheese sauce.
- Finish with a final layer of noodles, remaining cheese sauce, and 1/2 cup parmesan on top. ๐ง
