- π³ Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- π§ SautΓ© the beef: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, and sautΓ© for about 2 minutes until fragrant. Add the ground beef, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- π₯£ Prepare the filling: In a large bowl, mix ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, egg, and half of the cooked beef mixture. Stir until combined.
- π Assemble the dish: Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Stuff each cooked pasta shell with the ricotta-beef filling and place them in the dish.
- π§ Top and bake: Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells, add the rest of the cooked beef, and sprinkle extra mozzarella on top. Cover the dish with foil.
