Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, chopped mushrooms, milk, mozzarella, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Shape into a loaf and place in a greased baking pan.
Bake for 50-60 minutes until fully cooked.
Meanwhile, melt butter in a pan, sauté sliced mushrooms and garlic until soft.
Top the cooked meatloaf with sautéed mushrooms, garlic, and cheddar cheese.
Return to the oven for 5-10 minutes until cheese melts.
