- Marinate the Beef π₯©
- In a bowl, combine sliced flank steak, 2 tbsp soy sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well and let it sit for 15 minutes.
 
- Cook the Beef π³
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Stir-fry the marinated beef for 4β5 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
 
- Stir-Fry the Vegetables πΆοΈπ§
- In the same skillet, stir-fry onion and bell peppers for 3β4 minutes until tender-crisp.
 
- Add Aromatics π§π«
- Add minced garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for 1β2 minutes until fragrant.
 
- Prepare the Sauce π₯£
- In a bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup soy sauce, beef broth, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sugar, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
 
- Combine and Cook π₯
- Return the beef to the skillet. Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables, stirring to combine. Cook for 2β3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
 
- Serve and Garnish πβ¨
- Serve the pepper steak over cooked rice. Garnish with chopped green onions for a fresh, flavorful finish.
