Ingredients

For the Puffs:

• 🥐 1 sheet puff pastry (store-bought or homemade)
• 🫒 1 tbsp olive oil
• 🧅 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
• 🌭 1/2 lb sausage (pork, turkey, or chicken), casing removed
• 🧀 1/2 cup grated Gruyère cheese (or Swiss cheese)
• 🍶 1/4 cup sour cream or cream cheese (optional for creaminess)
• 🧂 Salt & pepper to taste
• 🌿 Fresh thyme or parsley for garnish (optional)
