Directions:

1️⃣ Cook the Steak:

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season both sides of the steak with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Sear the steak for 3-5 minutes per side or until it reaches your preferred doneness.
  4. Remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside to rest.

2️⃣ Prepare the Shrimp:

  1. Reduce the heat to medium and melt butter in the same skillet.
  2. Add the shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
  3. Remove the shrimp and set aside.

3️⃣ Make the Sauce:

  1. In the same skillet, sauté garlic for about a minute until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and deglaze the pan by scraping up any browned bits.
  3. Stir in the heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and Cajun seasoning, bringing it to a gentle boil.
  4. Simmer for about 1-2 minutes, then add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and the sauce thickens.
  5. Finish the sauce by adding lemon juice, parsley, and the cooked shrimp.

4️⃣ Serve:

  • Slice the rested steak and plate it.
  • Generously spoon the creamy Cajun shrimp sauce over the steak.
  • Garnish with additional parsley if desired.
