If making homemade, coat chicken in flour, egg wash, and breadcrumbs. Fry or bake until golden and cooked through.
If using store-bought, heat according to package instructions.

Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce π
over one side of each bread slice.
On two slices of bread, layer a piece of provolone π§, a chicken cutlet π, more marinara π

Top with the remaining slices of bread, marinara-side down.
