- Prepare the Steaks:
- Take the ribeye steaks out of the fridge and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.
- Preheat the Grill/Skillet:
- Preheat your grill or cast iron skillet over high heat. In the meantime, generously season both sides of the ribeyes with coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Grill the Steaks:
- Brush the ribeyes with olive oil and place them on the hot grill or skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- Make the Garlic Herb Butter:
- While the steaks are cooking, melt the butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped herbs (parsley and rosemary) and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the garlic is fragrant.
- Rest and Serve:
- Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes. Drizzle the garlic butter and herb mixture over the steaks before serving.
