- Season the Steaks:
Season both sides of the filet mignon steaks with salt and pepper. - Sear the Steaks:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Remove them from the skillet and set aside. - Cook the Mushrooms:
In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they become browned and tender. - Make the Sauce:
Add the minced garlic to the mushrooms and cook for another minute. Then, pour in the beef broth, heavy cream, and white wine. Stir and let the sauce simmer until it thickens. - Combine and Finish:
Return the steaks to the skillet, spooning the mushroom sauce over them. Let them cook in the sauce for an additional 2-3 minutes to warm through and infuse the flavors. - Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
