3. Cleaning Delicate Items
During the holidays, many people pull out items they only use on special occasions, like silver, china, crystal, lace, and more. You can clean all these materials with Powerizer too! Simply follow the directions as I listed them above, using half the recommended amount of Powerizer. (For instance, for pretreating a lace tablecloth, you would dissolve half a scoop of Powerizer in one gallon of water.)
4. General Household Cleaning
Of course, it’s not just the table linens and flatware that could use a good cleaning before your holiday festivities! The rest of the house could use some love too. 🙂 Luckily for us, Powerizer makes a great all-purpose cleaning solution for all kinds of surfaces! And because it is all-natural, renewable, and sustainable, it’s a cleaner you can feel good about using.
Fill a bucket with hot water and 2 scoops of Powerizer. Mix well to dissolve the detergent. Then use the Powerizer solution with a stack of microfiber cloths to clean! Use it on walls, baseboards, blinds, furniture, and more.
Post-Holiday Cleanup
1. Cleaning Dishes
Once your holiday meal ends, you may be up to your eyes in food-crusted plates! Use Powerizer to soak your dishes and help break up stubborn food residue. Just add 1 scoop of Powerizer to a sink full of hot water, and allow your dishes to soak for 1-2 hours.
Bonus Tip: Break out your cooler for Thanksgiving dinner! Before the meal, it makes a great place to stash casseroles to keep them warm until dinner. Then after the meal, fill it up with warm water and Powerizer to pre-soak roasting pans and other large dishes.
Once your dishes are ready for the dishwasher, use Powerizer as your dishwashing detergent too! Add between 1/2 and 3/4 of a scoop to the detergent compartment, depending on how full your dishwasher is and how dirty the dishes are. Wash as usual for sparkling clean and spotless dishes, without the need for added rinse aids!
